Return to the Lord

watch-your-thoughts

In this season let us return to the Lord our God! He is calling us back to Him! As we return to Him with fear and trembling, for He is thrice Holy! Hear His servants cry out;  as the Baptist of old:-

“Repent the Kingdom of God is near! Prepare the way for the Lord! Holy! Holy! Holy! Is the Lord God Almighty!!!”

“Who is there, like unto Him? He alone is Worthy! He alone is God! Besides Him there is, nor will be any other! Our God is a consuming fire! Righteous is He and Holy! Turn to the Lord! Seek Him when He still can be found! The Day of the Lord is drawing near! An awesome and fearsome day in deed! Heed the Wake Up Call! Hear the sound of the trumpet!

Sound the Alarm! Sound The Alarm! Hear Him say: “Come up Hither! Come, see that which is shortly about to take place! Return to Me you backsliding children! I await to hear your cry!” Judgement starts first with the House of God! Enter into His Awesome, Holy Presence! His Love is true! His Word Sure! He is preparing a place for us! We who are the Bride of the Lamb, are been prepared, made ready for our Heavenly Bridegroom. The Wedding Feast of the Lamb is being prepared! Are we ready? Are our lamps burning? Do we Have enough oil? Are our lamps being trimmed?

The Wise & Foolish Virgins

Scripture

25 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming;[a] go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour[b] in which the Son of Man is coming. (Mt 25:1-13 NKJ).

Wise or Foolish

Are we like the wise virgins? Or_ _ _  Are we like the foolish virgins? (Spoken of in Matthew 25:1-13). We need to be sure. For the Day of the Lord is drawing near. We only have this one life; this single walk which we are privileged to live and walk. Wherefore when we live we live in Christ and when we die we die in Christ. Whether we live or die we belong to Christ Jesus (see Rom 14:7-9). He is our Lord! He is Messiah! He is our Heavenly Bridegroom! He is coming for His own. We are no longer our own, but are Christ’s.

As He is so are we in this world! 17 Here is how love has been brought to maturity with us: as the Messiah is, so are we in the world. This gives us confidence for the Day of Judgment. 18 There is no fear in love. On the contrary, love that has achieved its goal gets rid of fear, because fear has to do with punishment; the person who keeps fearing has not been brought to maturity in regard to love. (1Jn4:17 Complete Jewish Bible CJB).

The foolish are not properly prepared! Often being short-sighted! They have no oil! Neither are they prepared nor their lamps trimmed!  When the cry sounds “Behold the Bridegroom cometh!” They could not enter in! They did not have oil! The Groom did not know them! The Door was Shut! They were not ready! They were not allowed in! Although they knocked, cried and cried they were not allowed in. The Bridegroom had not known them!

Alternatively the Wise virgins are always prepared! Having abundant oil! Always Ready! Always waiting! Always Watching! Their lamps trimmed! They are prepared and will enter in! Are we Prepared? Are we Ready? We need to be readily prepared! Have we abundant oil for our lamps? So they need not to go out! So we are able to enter in, When our Heavenly Bridegroom is announced!

Our Heavenly Bridegroom can be announced at anytime! His return is and remains imminent! Then our lamps need to be trimmed, ready to light the way! We need to be constantly filled! Our lamps need more than sufficient oil;  in case we become drowsy or our bridegroom is delayed. We need always to be wise, watchful, ready and waiting!   The wise are already prepared, and able to enter when the Groom appears!https://i2.wp.com/deebrestin.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/wedding_feast.gif

A Wedding

Sunday we were privileged, to attend a traditional Xhosa Wedding. The senior apostle/pastor of their fellowship invited us to attend. We were privileged to sit with them at the pastor’s main table; as their honoured guests. When seated we were able to appreciate their culture, fellowship, and loving hospitality.

This so  reminded us of the Lamb of God’s Wedding feast which is due to take place at the close of the age. In the beginning, as always; Marriage remains implemented, through God and by God Alone! This is why a man shall leave his father’s house, be joined to his wife and the two shall be one flesh. This is a mystery, yet it symbolizes the Marriage of the Lamb of God! He is Christ Jesus our Messiah! He is and always remains Lord of all! Immanuel; God with us!

He is revealed in us! He is our Heavenly Bridegroom! He is God in Flesh! He is a Husband to the widow! A Father to the fatherless! He came to woo us back to our Creator! He calls those things into being, which are not yet in being. Faith is after all the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We hope against hope, continually believing, trusting, walking by Faith. For as it is written; “the just shall live by and through their Faith.” This Faith works by Grace through Love.

Even as this bride prepares herself for her husband, and their “Happy Ever After;” that is their marriage! (Their marriage bed being undefiled). Even so we the Bride of Christ daily need to be sure we remain pure and undefiled for our Heavenly Bridegroom at His Wedding Feast (the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Who is slain before the foundation of the world!)!

We are to regularly examine ourselves; prepare our hearts for our Heavenly Bridegroom. We need to be unspotted, untainted, unblemished from this world and pure before our Bridegroom comes, to take us to Himself! We are to be holy even as our Heavenly Father is Holy! Knowing the Fear of God is the Beginning of Wisdom! Remember our God is a consuming fire (Heb 12:29 NKJ). We shall at times be tried and tested as gold is tried by fire, so that which is pure shall remain.

A Vision (Ariel Gate/dd 2017/09/02 during prayer)

Before I forget; on Saturday (02/09/17) after the leadership had been sharing about spiritual DNA and Terror of God. While praying together:- I saw a large brand new table. On this table, there were many brand new plates, dishes and  eating utensils. All shining as if just been made. I also saw what seemed to be arms and hands coming down to prepare the table. They were dressed in brand new, fresh, white linen.

I asked one of the leadership after the prayer if she could explain them to me. Whether it would be good or bad, fresh or stale, new or old. She said it is good. While thinking about this, I was reminded of the marriage supper of the Lamb. Which would be a new and precious to and for the Bride of Christ. This vision was given me the Saturday before I Am Global Ministries Sunday’s service, close to us.

Great was my amazement when I saw the preparation of their service Sunday morning. Each of us were seated at a table as guests. Then we saw the bride coming to meet her groom. Both were dressed in white. The bride had just put on her veil. She told the convener of the service, she believes the Lord restored her virginity. Therefore she put on her veil. She was dressed in white.

Happily Ever After/Welcome to the marriage feast of the Lamb

Great was the xcitement when her groom received her, welcoming her as his own. Remember though our sins be as scarlet, our Lord is able to wash us, making us as white as snow. He who knew no sin became sin for us, so we through our acceptance of Him, could be made God’s Righteousness through Him. He is our heavenly Groom! He paid the highest price for us!

He came to woo us back to Himself! Often the Scripture tells about the Lord relating to those whom call upon His Name as been forever with Him. He relates His relationship with us, as that being between the bride and her groom or visa versa the groom with his bride. We who relate to Christ as His Bride, need to allow the Lord to search our heart through His Spirit. We even now are to prepare our hearts; ourselves  to be well pleasing to Him.

For we are all to appear before the Judgement Seat of Christ! Each one may receive the things done in the body, according to that which he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing the terror of the Lord; we continue to persuade men. We are well known to God, I also trust we are well known in your consciences.  This I believe is what the Lord, desires for us to know through Paul’s pen.

In context we are to be motivated through Christ’s Love for us. After all it is His Love for us which draws us back to Him. He first loved us. He also chose us. No groom takes his bride for the sake of just being married. In fact the groom usually weds his bride to be, because he loves her. Neither will a bride marry her groom, if she doesn’t love him. Marriage is, usually a lifelong covenant, contractual commitment between a husband and his spouse.  Similarly marriage is also a lifetime commitment between the bride and her soon to be husband. Often we need to be reminded that God is a husband to the widow and a Father to the fatherless. Scripture also tells us God is married to the backslider (see Jer 3:13-15).

13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity: that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed My voice,’ saith the Lord.14 ‘Turn, O backsliding children,’ saith the Lord, ‘for I am married unto you; and I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.15 And I will give you pastors according to Mine heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.’ (Jer 3:13-15 KJ21 King James Version 21st Century).

Covenant

At times Israel relates to the Lord, as His betrothed. He originally called Abram out from his people, eventually blessing him. He cut covenant between Abraham and Himself. Marriage is defined by God as a Covenant between the man and his woman. This signifies the New Covenant, based on better promises. Paul covers this more fully in his letter to the Hebrews, which we may touch on briefly in this study in due course.

Remember our God is a Covenant  Keeping God. This Covenant traces its roots right to the Beginning of Genesis. For in the Beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth. He spoke and it was so. He still calls those things which are not as though they were. We find He sent His Word out, and healed all our diseases. His Word is Sure! He honours it (ie His Word) above His Name! His Name is above every other name, both in the Heavens and upon the Earth!

All Creation is awaiting the revealing of God’s sons (see Rom 8:18-30). You see when God created all things, (including the creation of man); it was good! There was no fault found therein! All was created to the finest, minutest detail. Here God is both Creator and God! Besides Him there is no other! That which God has created remains pure, without spot or blemish. Originally we have been beautifully, fearfully and wonderfully made (Ps 139:12-18). Remember God created us in His image (see Gen 1:29-31). We are created a little lower than Elohim (God; other translations say angels or Heavenly Beings).

Let us draw closer to the Lord! Learn to walk in His Ways. For this to take place we need to daily seek the Lord’s Face. We are to first seek God’s Kingdom; His Righteousness then all these things shall be added unto us (Mt 6:33). You see God’s Kingdom is an Everlasting Kingdom! He rules and reigns from Eternity to Eternity. He is the Alpha and Omega; The Beginning and the End. He calls us to come up unto Him.

Sound the alarm in the Holy Temple! Blow the Trumpet in  Zion, Zion! Cry out to the Belov’ed! The Bridegroom is coming seeking, finding His Bride! The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is drawing nigh. Are you going to be there? Are you drawing near to Him? Are you running away from Him? My Beloved Is mine and I am His! His Banner over me is Love! Draw near to Him and He shall draw near to you.

  • Seek Him while He still may be found!
  • Return o Backsliding children!
  • Our Lord awaits our cry!
  • He has not failed me;
  • neither shall He fail you!
  • He remains Faithful to all whom may call upon Him!
  • He never failed Israel!
  • Neither shall He Fail you!
  • How Great is His Love!
  • His Name is Holy!
  • He remains Gracious, Just, Righteous and Holy!
  • Holy! Holy! Holy! Is The Lord God on High!
  • Return to Him; For He Truly Loves you!
Marriage is implemented through God
He so Loves us
