Faithful God

Well Good Afternoon/Good Day/Evening/Evening to all

This is an extract/ portion of my second book (“Possess the Land”), which I am presently working on. I would like you to read and comment on the likelihood of  reading the whole book after publication early next year. I would appreciate any comments, creative criticism on this book. Would you be interested in having a copy for your library? Kindly let me know.

Presently I’ve been retrenched from my previous employer, due to circumstances beyond our control. So I’d appreciate any assistance (financially or otherwise); seeing  I haven’t  an extra source of income presently. But our Lord remains faithful. Should you be able to assist it would be greatly appreciated.

Be free to email/contact me when, where and if possible. Presently We at Fertiileground; need to trust our Lord for the necessary, funds/finances to keep on keeping on. We need to cover all our potential coats in the new year. We also would like to upgrade our blog to a more effective means of correspondence, communication & ecommerce. We need you to support us if and where possible.

We are thinking of upgrading Fertiileground’s Blog to a fully fledged website and ecommerce potential store.

Faithful God

God always remains Faithful, despite our unfaithfulness. We sing what a Faithful God we serve. Do we really understand His Faithfulness? We find throughout Scripture, when the Faith Heroes, call upon the Lord, in their time of need He answered them. Every time He came through for them.

This fellowship is also available for us in this day and age we’re living in. When we call upon Him, He hears us. Let us forget the fickleness of mankind, return to our Creator. Through the Door, we’re being reconciled to the Lord, our God. He is Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. Through acceptance of Christ Jesus; we are able to reconcile man back to God. Scripture tells us we have this ministry of reconciliation.

This ministry of reconciliation is made available to us through Christ Jesus. For all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ [received us into favour, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. It was God in Christ reconciling and restoring the world to favour with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them] and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favour). (See 2 Cor 5:17-20 Amp).

As creation further unfolds, we see man fall (we touched on this earlier). Death and destruction enters in. Man’s sinful nature becomes more and more blatant. Adam and his Eve have two sons. The one (Abel) was found righteous. He understands; God’s Righteous, Holy, Love. The other (Cain) became jealous of his brother.

There came a time of offering and sacrifice on the altar. Meanwhile after the fall, our Lord made garments of skin for His crown creation. He had been aware of our failures. He knew man slipped up. He sought for Adam and his Eve. As usual, He came down in the early hours of evening. He sought His crown creation to fellowship together with them. Due to their disobedience, they hid from their Creator. Sin brings separation, between God and man. Though we messed up, our Lord makes a way, to restore our relationship. Thus, God showed them His plan. God is Thrice Holy, Righteous, Mercifully Gracious, Pure, and Loving!  Sin and death entered in, which would not stand in God’s Holy Presence. This brought separation, death and destruction. In this Dispensation of Innocence, our innocence became marred, soiled and therefore spoiled our fellowship which we had with God. Therefore, God made a way, giving us His Promised restoration and reconciliation with Him. Our Heavenly Father, before banning us from Eden, clothed us with tunics of skin. Eventually, Trustworthy Plan. He gives us His Clear Plan of Reconciliation. revealing to us, that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. Through this demonstration of His Great Grace, Love & Mercy, He revealed His Faithful Gradually He reveals His Plan, step by gentle step.

Leaving random clues, one by one, He is directing us carefully.

The Psalmist writes in Ps 37:23

about the steps of a

good man and woman being ordered through the Lord. We spoke of this earlier, in this manuscript. His Plans are recorded in Heaven’s annals. God is both Righteous and Just! He judges in Righteousness! His Love greatly surpasses all understanding. Yet He cannot allow sin to destroy humanity (mankind). He is also God of Covenant. He makes Covenant with the whole of Creation. Even with Adam’s offspring, He made Covenant. Yet we messed up, sold out our birth rite to the serpent.

Death entered into God’s Creation, through one man’s rebellious, sinful action. Therefore if death entered into God’s Creation through one man’s sin, (namely Adam); Then through the One Righteous Man (Namely Christ Jesus, the Last Adam), shall all of creation be made alive. In Him do we live, move, and have our being. For He whom was without sin became sin for us so that we through our acceptance of Him; would be made God’s Righteousness in Him.

During Noah’s days the evil of fallen man, increased daily. Humankind      became reckless, evil upon evil. committing Their violence, blood shedding, murder and killing increased. Man’s constant disobedience, sin, and wickedness brought forth death, destruction, and judgement to God’s Creation. Noah, had been found to be righteous, amongst his generation. He had been Lamech’s son.

Lamech knew of the coming catastrophe. He saw that Noah; would be called of God to bring relieved comfort to God’s Creation. He became God’s answer for sparing humankind, creation and all life. Like Enoch of old, Noah walked with God. He had found favour with God[1], walking uprightly with Him, all the days of his life. He had also being a righteous preacher. He had been God’s

During those days the men and women who walked with God, passed on, not having to see or go through His approaching decree. Our Lord often spares us, cross, disarming principalities and powers. He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (see Col 2:11-17). He always causes us to triumph (see 2 Cor 2:14-17)

Due to their actions

Man became wicked. Man’s wickedness increased bringing Judgement upon the known world. Due to their actions, death & sin increased, which caused God’s Creation to become defiled! God being Most Holy, Just and Righteous could not allow death, sin and destruction to be in charge.

He warned man, of this danger, which would lead to Death and Destruction. He gives them chance to repent, return to their Creator. Yet we still rebelled, heeded the Destroyer. This Liar still deceives today. He is both the deceiver, and the father of lies. He always questions God’s plans. He always sows discord amongst God’s Elect Creation, trying to destroy all who dare to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Master of their lives.

This father of lies was behind our original demise. God being Holy judged accordingly. Yet these tares are still found among man’s civilization. Remember there are a real heaven and a real hell. Hell is not made for man, rather for the devil and his fallen angels.

The serpent orchestrated rebellion in heaven, even in God’s Presence. He being cast down sowed the first seeds of destruction. These tares increased, to such an extent, causing God to reconsider man’s creation.

There had been found none righteous, no not one; except for Noah. God showed Noah His Grace and Mercy. God’s Gracious Love intervened; asking Noah to build the original ark, for preserving his family. He instructed him to care for all the animals! When the ark was completed, the Lord brought the birds of the air; every creature great and small into this ark two by two.

He made a way of escape for Noah, his family thus restoring Creation’s Hope. During the building of this covenant vessel, Noah warned sinful man of the consequences of their Godless actions. The more he warned of their coming judgement, the more these ungodly scorned, making mockery of God’s spokesperson. None heeded nor yielded them to Noah’s warning about the coming deluge.

Noah was the joke of his day. Although he found favour with God, the rest of the earth became corrupt. Violence also increased even more. These same people made mockery of God’s chosen servant. Civilisation drew closer to judgement. For the people married, gave in married, feasted, partied, life went on as usual. Yet even when the Lord gave them chance to repent, they even more hardened their heart, sinning against Him. They refused to heed, hearken to God’s warning.

Today we are still doing the same. Scripture tells us: –

He who is unrighteous (unjust, wicked), let him be unrighteous still; and he who is filthy (vile, impure), let him be filthy still; and he who is righteous (just, upright, in right standing with God), let him do right still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still. (See Rev 22:8-14; Dan 12:8-13, Dan 11:32-35 AMP).

In his day, Noah, spoke warning the known world, about God’s pending judgement which would be coming upon the earth. He showed them God’s Righteousness. Noah had been God’s Righteous preacher.5 The chosen vessel of God, a voice of repentance calling for the wicked to turn from their wickedness. Instead, they neither hearkened to God’s Word nor heeded His warning of judgement, coming upon the then known world. Rather they remained unrepentant.

The day Noah, his family, all of God’s creatures, animals, beasts of the field & the birds of the air entered in the ark. This had been the start of the worldwide deluge. All the fountains of the deep broke open! Too late for their deliverance, had they hearkened to this righteous person’s words, they would have been set free, spared and delivered from the coming apocalypse..

The voice is still crying in the wilderness; “Prepare the way of the Lord! Repent from this wickedness! Return to the Lord your God! Turn from this evil & wicked generation! Come to Me all who labour and are heavy-laden! Take My yoke upon you & learn of Me, for I Am gentle (meek) humble (lowly) in heart, and you shall find rest _ _ _” (Rf Mt 3:1-3; Mk 1:1-4; Lk 3:3-9; Jn 1:19-27; Is 40:1-5; Mt 11:26-30).

E’en in our day, we see these similarities to Noah’s time. Our Lord warned us; when He had been walking with His disciples; about these times being, as in Noah’s generation. He also told us as it had been in the times of Sodom & Gomorrah; so will it be in those days. The times we’re living in, are truly prophetic.

We see sin, wickedness, violence & evil increase. The philosophy of our day seems to be one of ordered disorder. What will be; will be! We do things our way, instead of God’s Way. Once more the Lord is raising His Righteous to warn the people of our day, of coming judgement. We hear from the annals of time, Habakkuk’s cry echo in our day: –

“O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.” (Hab 3:1-2 NKJ).

As the ungodliness increased and the Godly decreased, the Lord decreased the years of mankind’s life span to one hundred and twenty years. In those days the Lord said that His Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because we are flesh.

During our day, we also need to be sure our lives, are completely knit in with God. We daily need to walk, in habitual fellowship with God. We are to look at God’s testimonials concerning, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (whom the Lord renamed Israel); Joseph, Moses or Joshua.

These faith heroes each have their own story and testimonies (Heb 11:1-40). Their lives spoke of God’s Goodness, towards all who would call upon His Name. They regularly walked in God’s Favour. The Name of Jesus is far above every other name, found in the Heavens above and the Earth below.

We’re also able to walk under God’s Favour, through accepting Christ Jesus. In Him we are become God’s Righteousness. He is the living ark of God. He (Jesus) came to give us a way of escape through Himself. He is the Door for the sheep to enter into life eternal. Through Noah’s obedience to God’s instructions, given him, we received preservation of life.

All creation once again became restored. When Noah exited from the ark, he gave the Lord Thanks. He celebrated, rejoicing in the Lord, offering a sacrifice of thanks giving. The Lord made the similar promise to Noah and his descendants as He had given Adam. He further instructed, pronounced a blessing upon them, be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth (see Gen 9:1-7

Note this is similar to God’s original promised blessing, which He had given to Adam before our fall from grace. When God originally created man, we were without sin. We are created in God’s image, beautifully and wonderfully formed. There had been no fault found in man. God fashioned us with His hands wholly pure, without sin or any defect. Out of Adam’s rib, our Lord formed woman.

We had unbroken fellowship with, the Creator of the whole universe. Often He would fellowship with us. E’en now He desires our fellowship. In this special relationship, we would daily experience the Greatness of God’s Love toward us. Yet at times we are allured by the fancies of life’s celebrations.

Yet our former father (i.e. Adam), slipped up, heeding Satan’s lies losing all which our Heavenly Father had given for our provision. Through these actions, death & destruction entered in. Because God is thrice Holy, our sin keeps us from entering His Presence. Although we messed up, God made a way. He also clad our original parents with garments made from skins. Through His actions of His, He revealed through the shedding of animal’s blood, there’d be a covering for our sin.

Remember this had only been a covering, not complete Salvation. Through these subtle hints, our Lord eventually, gradually revealed to us His plan of restoration and salvation. Through the ages and eons, our Lord reveals to His servants, the prophets’ knowledge about His plans of deliverance for all of humanity (see Amos 3:2-8).

Whoever believes calling upon His Name shall not be disappointed (see Rom 10:5-13). Now our Lord gave His prophetic promises, for drawing us back to Him. His promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2Cor 1:20). Our Lord is able to call those things that are not even as though they were. While we trace the origin of mankind, through us being God’s crown creation. We find out how depraved we’ve become since, our first parents sold out to Serpentine le Deceipt. We messed up, thereby losing our Godly Blessing, Origins, Promises and Right of Life. For in Him (i.e. God, through Christ Jesus) was and is the Life, which is the Light of man.

As revealed all things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].[i] (Jn 1:3-5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) (Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by the Lockman Foundation)

The Righteous

Although our former parents, miserably failed our Creator’s hopes, thoughts, dreams and plans for us. He still promised the restoration of our relationship with Him. Despite this increase of ungodliness, unrighteousness, corruption and violence in man’s heart; God remains faithful toward His Crown Creation.

For throughout all the dispensations, times and seasons; of Creation the Lord sought and had His Righteous people, His champions of Faith; intercede for man’s restoration, salvation & deliverance. He regularly raises these heroes, and heroines of faith, as voices to warn mankind. In those days all who walked righteously before, God and man, had gradually passed on, spared from the coming wrath of God.

Interesting to read though, whenever there would be mention of coming judgement upon a nation or people; God’s righteous ones would be moved to safety (see Gen 19:1-29, Gen 7:1, Gen 12:1; Ex 9:20-26; Jonah 3:1-10; 1 Kgs 17:1-24; 2 Kgs 7:10-23; Job 22:21-30 NKJ) to name a few. Scripture reminds us that the Name of Lord is our Strong Tower, the righteous run to Him and are safe (Pr 18:10 NKJ).

The Lord is showing us the Way back to Himself. He makes a way for us in this wilderness of sin, causing us to return to Him, when we call upon His Name. He prophetically declared, decreed the restoration of us toward Himself, through & via the woman’s Seed. Her Seed shall bruise the serpent’s head, while the serpent shall bruise this Seed’s heel (See Gen 3:15).

” _ _ _I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” (Gen 3:15 NKJ).

And the God of Peace of Peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you. Amen. (See Rom 16:20 NKJ).

answer, for the salvation of the antediluvian world. Yet their generation hardened their hearts even more. The Lord spared them for 120 years, from the coming judgement. The Lord gave them chance to repent from their wickedness only to no avail! This is when the Lord, ushered Noah and his family in, to build the ark. He also gave them His instructions, as to what they had to do in preparation, for their preservation from the coming deluge.
