I will never leave you

My fellow brother in the Lord Andrew Roebert made mention of the importance of continually living in the Lord’s presence. He mentions Spurgeon had this constant experience. O for us to have more of God in us and less of our self. I’m sure, we are also able to live as Spurgeon said. I can only confirm this in my own life. The older and more mature I become, tall the more do I acknowledge God’s Presence being with me. So let’s give God the Glory due His Name!

Sometimes we may feel that God is afar off.  But what God desires for you and me is that we would experience Him as someone who is close and someone who wants to walk with us.  It was Spurgeon who said that He had known the tangible presence of God and that he had not been without that sense, not even for 10 minutes, for the duration of his Christian life.  This is what God has for us. God wants us to know and experience His presence on a daily basis and as a result to know that He is by our side.

God promises that He will never leave us.   If God uses the word never He knows what He is speaking about.  This is an aspect that God wants us to know as a reality in our lives.
