The Harvest is Ripe

Scriptures

36 When He saw the throngs, He was moved with pity and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd.37 Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.38 So pray to the Lord of the harvest to [a]force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.(Mt 9:36-38 Amp).

10 Now after this the Lord chose and appointed seventy others and sent them out ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where He Himself was about to come (visit). And He said to them, The harvest indeed is abundant [[a]there is much ripe grain], but the farmhands are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.Go your way; behold, I send you out like lambs into the midst of wolves.(Lk 10:1-3 Amp.).

34 Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work.35 Do you not say, It is still four months until harvest time comes? Look! I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields and see how they are already white for harvesting.36 Already the reaper is getting his wages [he who does the cutting now has his reward], for he is gathering fruit (crop) unto life eternal, so that he who does the planting and he who does the reaping may rejoice together.(Jn 4:34-36 Amp).

14 Again I looked, and behold, [I saw] a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud [a]One resembling a Son of Man, with a crown of gold on His head and a sharp scythe (sickle) in His hand.15 And another angel came out of the temple sanctuary, calling with a mighty voice to Him Who was sitting upon the cloud, Put in Your scythe and reap, for the hour has arrived to gather the harvest, for the earth’s crop is fully ripened.16 So He Who was sitting upon the cloud swung His scythe (sickle) on the earth, and the earth’s crop was harvested.(Rev 14:14-16 Amp).

Back on Line

Hi, just after a while we are able to be back on line. For some days we had been offline, due to internet connection difficulties. There seems to be some people, looking for both internet & power cables. They had a liking for copper, brass & bronze. Although we may have been set back for a while, we refuse to be silenced. We are keeping on keeping on.

We shall possess the promises of God, take every thought captive, bringing them into obedience to Christ. We shall take hold of the Lord’s Word, possess the land ’til He comes. We shall ask the Lord for the nations according to Psalm 2:6-

Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You.Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.” (Ps 2:6-8 Amp).

14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.16 If anyone sees his brother [believer] committing a sin that does not [lead to] death (the extinguishing of life), he will pray and [God] will give him life [yes, He will grant life to all those whose sin is not one leading to death]. There is a sin [that leads] to death; I do not say that one should pray for that. (see 1Jn 5:14-16 Amp).

Paul’s Conversion

Saul Converted
Paul’s Conversion

Often when we act upon the Word of God, in obedience to His call on our lives, we may experience oppositition from different areas, people, well meaning friends or family. We may also be challenged from all walks of life. We need to be sure we’ve clearly, definitely heard from our Lord! When seeking the Lord’s Face, even as the men & women of God, sought the Lord; He clearly hears & answers us.

The Lord shall never do anything, without first making His plans known, to His servants the prophets. Remember when our Lord, met with Saul of Tarsus (Paul the apostle), on his Damascus Road, knocking him from his mount, blinding him in the process. We hear the Lord asking; confronting him with: – “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.[a] It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. (Acts 9:1-10 NKJ).

When reading about Paul the apostle; we see a life dedicated to God. Truly a radical heart, seeking after God, desiring to do something for the Lord. Although well meaning, he’d been misinformed, by the religous leaders of his day. Yet, he had such a burning desire; to hear from the Lord. So greatly was he seeking the Lord’s face. So much so, that he’d thought, he was obedient to his Lord, when persecuting, the Believers of his time.

While he had been hunting the Church, they (the Church); had been praying for his conversion. E’en when Stephen (the 1st martyr of the church), had been stoned to death, Paul (then known as Saul of Tarsus); held Stephen’s clothes. There he heard, Stephen cry out with a loud voice: – “Lord, do not charge them with this sin!”(See Acts 7:55-60 NKJ).

Clearly these words of Stephen must have so touched Saul’s (Paul’s) heart, that he tried to hide the guilt he felt, behind his religious duties. To such an extent that he would try and stop these Christians, from spreading the Good News, of this Gospel of the Kingdom. In fact, he would seek all the necessary documentation, instructions and leads from the religious leaders, to carry out his personal vendetta.

But the Lord had a different plan. He wasn’t prepared to allow, His prized pearl; to be  left in the wrong hands. The church saw Saul as enemy number One; Yet God saw a priceless treasure. This treasure; He would use to turn the world the right side up. He would prepare this earthen vessel, to be the catalyst of change for the better, in the Gentile World of his day.

During the birth of the infant church, they turned their world upside down. The church of Acts had been a force to be reckoned with. The people were drawn to them, due to their Love they showed each other. Yet they moved the people’s hearts greatly. People who came in contact with them were changed. The promised signs and wonders followed the early disciples.

At the Feast of Pentecost, the Promised Holy Spirit fell upon the disciples as Christ said He would. The Upper Room experience, permanently changed the early disciples for life. Their lives would never be the same again! This had been promised by our Lord, to His Disciples. He gives us the same promises, even today. Paul reminds us: –

18 But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. 20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” (2Cor 1:18-22 NKJ).

Christ’s; Delegated Authority

God’s Covenants

The Lord; also authorized us, through the correct use of His Name, to ask the Father anything, according to His will and in line with God’s Promises found in His Word. Our Lord, tells us the same things which He has done we shall do also. Yes e’en greater than these, shall we be able to do. Daniel also wrote about these matters. As recorded in Daniel; we read: –

“_ _ _ but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. 33 And those of the people who understand shall instruct many;_ _ _” (Dan 11:32b-33a NKJ).

We’re to realize, the Glory of the Latter Temple, is sure to be Greater than the former. The Earth shall surely be filled with God’s Glory! When we seek first God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness then all these things shall be added unto us (see Mt 6:33). When delighting ourselves in the Lord, He shall give us the desires of our heart (Ps 37:4).
