Arise & Build
18 “Is not the Lord your God with you? And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and before His people. 19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the Lord your God. Therefore arise and build the sanctuary of the Lord God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the holy articles of God into the house that is to be built for the name of the Lord.”(1 Chron 22:18-19 NKJ).
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they laughed at us and despised us, and said, “What is this thing that you are doing? Will you rebel against the king?”20 So I answered them, and said to them, “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.”(Neh 1:19-20 NKJ).
Lord You have been asking us to build & rebuild Your Temple, Your Kingdom, Your Church. This is a great task, which You ask of Your People. We are unable to do it without Your Faithful Assistance. Lord the work which You have started in us, You shall completely fulfil, e’en till the end of the age. Lord come build Your Church. Lord; You are our Sure Foundation, our Chief Cornerstone.
Help us as living stones to build wisely. Let us be sure of the material we use. There is no other Foundation, we are able to build on. You O Lord, are the only Sure Foundation. We’ve come to know You are Messiah! You o Lord. alone have the Words of Life! You are our Life Giver! There is no other God besides You! You alone are God! We honour, praise and worship You, in spirit and truth.
For Lord; we are certain, the whole Earth shall be filled with Your Glory! Father; come build Your Kingdom. Your Kingdom stands forever. It is written in Your Word; “the kingdoms of this world, are now become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ. Lord You shall reign forever and ever.
15 The seventh angel then blew [his] trumpet, and there were mighty voices in heaven, shouting, The dominion (kingdom, sovereignty, rule) of the world has now come into the possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (the Messiah), and He shall reign forever and ever (for the eternities of the eternities)!(Rev 11:15 Amp).
Lord, You set before us an open door, which no one is able to shut. Thank You Lord. also for giving Your angels charge o’er us. You e’en send the angels ahead, before us to prepare our way. You tell us, when we ask anything in Your Name, according to Your will, it shall be done for us.
Lord; you remind us, to ask You for the nations as our inheritance; and the uttermost parts of the earth as our possession. You desire all men ev’rywhere, to come to repentance. For it’s Your Goodness, which brings us to repentance. Lord; You are Worthy of all Praise, Honour, Glory & Thanksgiving. Amen!
The Lord’s with us
Approximately; more than twelve (12) years ago the Lord; lead me to these and other scriptural promises, concerning the building (rebuilding) of His Body; His Kingdom. That stage while wrestling with these matters, I placed them on the shelf. Recently the Lord took me back to these promises concerning building His Kingdom. In this season the Lord is calling us, (whom make up His Bride); to come up higher. He is calling us to draw closer, nearer to His Presence. The Lord longs to meet, fellowship with Him. He desires fellowship with us.
We in turn need to daily practice, walking and living in His Presence. The Lord’s with us to build. His provision is unlimited. We need to believe, on His Word! All His promises are yes and in Christ the Amen’s secured (see 2Cor 1:15-24). He remains the Author and Finisher of our Faith. He desires for us to be established in Him.
According to Daniel chapter two, we see Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Daniel’s image); we find the Lord revealing the kingdoms of the world, which would eventually come to pass. In their appropriate seasons, they would come to the forefront. We’re reminded in Acts; these dispensations, times & seasons are in Father’s Hands. He has appointed them, through His own choice. God is not limited through time. He is all knowing, always present! Nothing is hid from our Heavenly Father’s sight! He sees, and knows, all things.
I tend to believe we’re heading into the final phase before the complete, total revealing of the sons of God. For the Glory of the Lord shall be seen, through out this world in due course. After reading about Daniel’s image, as recorded in the 2nd Chapter of Daniel, with an understanding heart, we should be able to recognize the times & seasons we’re living in.
Signs o’ the times
Our Lord also made it known to us, when His disciples asked about the signs of the end of the age, before God’s Kingdom being established upon this earth. He revealed to us the records of these times, we’re living in. He spoke about the budding of the Fig Tree (Israel) and all the other trees (nations). He spoke about: –
- Nation rising against nation
- Kingdom against kingdom
- Rumours of war
- We need not be alarmed
- These things taking place
- Birth Pains
- Hatred of Christians
- Hatred of Godliness
- Budding of the Fig Tree & all the other trees
- Falling away from the Faith
- Increase of wickedness
- Believers/people losing their first Love
- Love of most growing cold
- Some losing their 1st Love
- The Gospel of the Kingdom published/Preached in the whole world
- Son of Man’s sign appearing in the sky
- God’s Kingdom Established
- New Heaven & New Earth
18 [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!19 For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].20 For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope_ _ _(Rom 8:18-22)
22 We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons).24 For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees?(Rom 8:22-24 Amp).
19 For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].20 For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope21 That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children.22 We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons).24 For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees?25 But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure.26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.28 We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.(Rom 8:19-28 Amp).
