14 For God [does reveal His will; He] speaks not only once, but more than once, even though men do not regard it [including you, Job].15 [One may hear God’s voice] in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men while slumbering upon the bed,16 Then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction [terrifying them with warnings], (Job 33:14-16 Amp).
18 Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he. (Pr 29:18 Amp)
Keep on keeping on
Amidst all our setbacks, load sharing, tests & trials; we may undergo the Lord remains faithful to His Word. He readily leads us and directs us through His Spirit. It is written: “The steps of a good (righteous) man or woman, are ordered by the Lord; though he (she) falls he (she) is not utterly cast down. The Lord upholds him (her) with His Righteous Right Hand_ _ _” (See Ps 37.).
23 The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].24 Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him. (Ps 37:23-24 Amp).
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand. (Ps 37:23-24 NKJ)
Let us give the Lord, the Glory & Honour due His Name. Often when the Lord leads us, directing our steps, we may have some setbacks. Yet we should not loses hope. When the Lord directs our steps, He shall make a way we there seems to be no way. We need to hear from the Lord specifically, when He gives us a dream or vision.
Be certain our Lord is not unaware of all our various tests and trials, we may undergo. Remember our Lord had also undergone the same tests and trials, which we experience. The Lord warned us ahead of time, concerning all these tests and trials. He readily prepares us for the mandate, the task for which He has called us.
We are also encouraged, to earnestly, urgently seek the Lord’s face in whatever we plan to do. Proverbs tells us we need to trust the Lord with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding. In all our ways we are to acknowledge the Lord in all our ways; then He shall daily direct our steps (see Prov 3:1-8).
The Lord is interested in ev’ry part, area of our life. The psalmist also wrote about these things. He writes in Ps 139 about us being beautifully, wonderfully formed e’en in our mother’s womb.
13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written,The days fashioned for me,When as yet there were none of them.17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!How great is the sum of them!18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. (Ps 139:13-18 NKJ).
When God created man He created & formed us in His image. He also placed a dream in our hearts. We are uniquely created, through God, for a specific, task, dream & vision. Although we have come into this world, and are formed in our mother’s womb, the Lord already had a plan for our life. This dream/vision He placed in our heart.
Our Lord knows the plans/thoughts which He has for us. Plans & thoughts of a future & a hope, not of failure..
11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.12 Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you.13 Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive. (Jer 29:11-14 Amp).
Ev’ry dream & vision, starts with one small step of faith. A man or woman of God, usually hears from the Lord, as to God’s plan for their life. The Lord directs their steps, faithfully leading them each step of the way. Even successful businesses, start with a dream/goal/vision for their life. Sometimes the Lord gives us a single thought, which we are able to act upon.
The Lord Leads
The Lord leads us step by step. When we act in obedience to the Word from the Lord; He comes through for us, ev’ry time! Remember to obey is better than sacrifice. When acting in obedience; we shall eat the fat of the land. The Lord has given all of us a specific purpose, for our lives. We are the only people who are able to fulfill the purpose, given us for our individual, unique lives.
Remember the Lord directs our steps, in the way He would have us walk in. Therefore, as Born Again Believers, we need to heed the Spirit’s call, which the Lord places on our life.
23 So that all men may give honor (reverence, homage) to the Son just as they give honor to the Father. [In fact] whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, Who has sent Him.24 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.25 Believe Me when I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the time is coming and is here now when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear it shall live. (Jn 5:23-25 Amp)
43 Then will the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God) shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let him who has ears [to hear] be listening, and let him[a]consider and perceive and understand by hearing. (see Mt 13:42-44 Amp).
4 And when a very great throng was gathering together and people from town after town kept coming to Jesus, He said in a parable:5 A sower went out to sow seed; and as he sowed, some fell along the traveled path and was trodden underfoot, and the birds of the air ate it up.6 And some [seed] fell on the rock, and as soon as it sprouted, it withered away because it had no moisture.7 And other [seed] fell in the midst of the thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it [off].8 And some seed fell into good soil, and grew up and yielded a crop a hundred times [as great]. As He said these things, He called out, He who has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him consider and understand by hearing!9 And when His disciples asked Him the meaning of this parable,10 He said to them, To you it has been given to [come progressively to] know (to recognize and understand more strongly and clearly) the mysteries and secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that, [though] looking, they may not see; and hearing, they may not comprehend.11 Now the meaning of the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.12 Those along the traveled road are the people who have heard; then the devil comes and carries away the message out of their hearts, that they may not believe (acknowledge Me as their Savior and devote themselves to Me) and be saved [here and hereafter].13 And those upon the rock [are the people] who, when they hear [the Word], receive and welcome it with joy; but these have no root. They believe for a while, and in time of trial and temptation fall away (withdraw and stand aloof).14 And as for what fell among the thorns, these are [the people] who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked and suffocated with the anxieties and cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not ripen (come to maturity and perfection).15 But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience.16 No one after he has lighted a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it under a [dining table] couch; but he puts it on a lamp stand, that those who come in may see the light.17 For there is nothing hidden that shall not be disclosed, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come out into the open.18 Be careful therefore how you listen. For to him who has [spiritual knowledge] will more be given; and from him who does not have [spiritual knowledge], even what he thinks and guesses and supposes that he has will be taken away.(See Lk 8:4-18 Amp).
By the way this Scripture , is the Scripture (the Word) which the Lord gave me to stand on, when starting Fertiileground’s Blog. (Hence the name see my earlier posts). [See also; http://firstname.lastname@example.org%5D.
The Lord sows the seed of His plan in our hearts. When we act on His Word, He starts working on our behalf. He sometimes gives us an idea, one thought, one word directing our ev’ry step along life’s road. He prepares our hearts, for His mandate. Remember His gifts and calling he has given us are without repentance.
28 From the point of view of the Gospel (good news), they [the Jews, at present] are enemies [of God], which is for your advantage and benefit. But from the point of view of God’s choice (of election, of divine selection), they are still the beloved (dear to Him) for the sake of their forefathers.29 For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] Just as you were once disobedient and rebellious toward God but now have obtained [His] mercy, through their disobedience, _ _ _(See Rom 11:28-30 Amp).
11 And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers.12 His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church), (See Eph 4:11-12 Amp).
The Lord always prepares our hearts, before He gives us His vision for our lives. We need to be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. For when we act in obedience to the Lord’s call on our life, there is sure to be results. The Holy Spirit shall teach and direct us. He shall give Glory to God. He shall direct us in all Truth! He shall direct our steps. When we pray according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will receive God’s directive, for His dreams, plans & vision for our lives.
2 May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.3 For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).4 By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.(See 2 Pet 1:2-4 Amp).
2 First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,2 For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.3 For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,(see 1 Tim 2:1-3 Amp).
7 But refuse and avoid irreverent legends (profane and impure and godless fictions, mere grandmothers’ tales) and silly myths, and express your disapproval of them. Train yourself toward godliness (piety), [keeping yourself spiritually fit].8 For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come.9 This saying is reliable and worthy of complete acceptance by everybody.(1 Tim 4:7-9 Amp).
