Hark, your watchmen lift up their voices; together they sing for joy; for they shall see eye to eye the return of the Lord to Zion. Break forth joyously, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem, for the Lord has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem! The Lord has made bare His Holy Arm before the eyes of all the nations [revealing Himself as the One by whose direction the redemption from Israel from captivity is accomplished], and all the ends of the earth shall witness the Salvation of our God. (Is 52:8-10 Amp)
6 For thus the Lord said to me:“Go, set a watchman; let him announce what he sees. 7 When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, let him listen diligently, very diligently. 8 Then he who saw cried out: “Upon a watchtower I stand, O Lord, continually by day,and at my post I am stationed whole nights. 9 And behold, here come riders, horsemen in pairs!”And he answered,“Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the carved images of her gods he has shattered to the ground.” 10 O my threshed and winnowed one, what I have heard from the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, I announce to you. 11 The oracle concerning Dumah. One is calling to me from Seir, “Watchman, what time of the night? Watchman, what time of the night?”12 The watchman says: “Morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; come back again.” (Is 21:6-12 ESV).Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. (Ps 127:1 ESV)
16 And at the end of seven days, the word of the LORD came to me: 17“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 18 If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.19 But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. 20 Again, if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and commits injustice, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. Because you have not warned him, he shall die for his sin, and his righteous deeds that he has done shall not be remembered, but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 But if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning, and you will have delivered your soul.” (Ezek 3:16-21 ESV).1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them, If I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them, and make him their watchman, 3 and if he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then if anyone who hears the sound of the trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand. 7 “So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. 10 “And you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, Thus have you said: ‘Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we rot away because of them. How then can we live?’11 Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel? (Ezek 33:1-12 ESV).
Set up Watchmen_ _ _The Lord calls His servants the prophets, to act as watchmen, for His people. It is written in Amos; our Lord, shall do nothing, unless He first reveals His secrets to His servants, the prophets (see Amos 3:7). He shall always first, warn the people before He takes action. Our Lord, does not have pleasure, in the death of the wicked. When He starts dealing with His people, He raises up men and women of God, to prepare their hearts.Even when we see that, which is presently taking place, in the Bible Lands. Between Palestine, Israel and the people of the Middle East. He promises healing for Zion, the nations and their people. Presently that which is happening, in the Middle East, the Lord spoke of, showing what would happen. During these latter days, we are to be ever watchful and praying. He tells us; “_ _ _ I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.” (Ezek 22:30 Amp).
Our Lord, knows the future, of His people. He holds the future in His hand. He is all knowing. He judges the wicked, yet shows mercy to all who call upon His Name. He hears, knows our burdens. He hears our cries. When we call upon His Name; He hears our prayer. ” Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night.” This is often our cry. We see the night is far gone! The morning awakes! It is time to inquire of the Lord! The Lord, opens the eyes of our understanding, giving us His Wisdom in due course. When looking at this present time, we are able to ask the Lord to read the times and seasons we are living in. We are living in fairly prophetic times. The Lord told us about the budding of the fig tree. These times we see many signs and wonders in the heavens and the earth, This seems to be the time of Jacob’s trouble. Yet the Lord; shall cause Jacob to come out, the other side victorious. It is time for Zion to stand up and arise. The Lord shall reign from mount Zion. Jerusalem shall stand, while our Lord shall reign from out of her. Jerusalem is the Lord’s eternal capital. When we go to Genesis 14: we see there had been a battle, between different kings.During this season, Abram’s nephew, Lot, had been taken captive. When Abram heard of this, he went up to rescue Lot. The Lord gave him the victory. Abram brought Lot back safely, with all his goods. At the end of this battle, they celebrated, giving God the Glory. While celebrating their victory, Melchizedek, King of Salem brought bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High. He then blessed Abram, saying: – “Blessed be Abram of God most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” (See Gen 14:1-24).
Watchman Awake! Watchman Awake! The Lord, shall open the eyes of our understanding, when we ask Him, to do so. Read the signs of the times, and we shall not be caught unawares. He afore this time, when He walked upon the earth, told us of these things. He spoke of these times, we are in today. The Lord, gave us the Parable of the fig tree to make us aware, of what may shortly come to pass in this season.
32 From the fig tree learn this lesson: as soon as its young shoots become soft and tender and it puts out its leaves, you know of a surety that summer is near.
33 So also when you see these signs, all taken together, coming to pass, you may know of a surety that He is near, at the very doors.34 Truly I tell you, this generation (the whole multitude of people living at the same time, in a definite, given period) will not pass away till all these things taken together take place.35 Sky and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. (Mt 24:32-35 Amp.).“Now learn this parable from the fig tree; When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves , you know that summer is near, So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the very doors, Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” (Mt 24: 32- 35 NKJ).People Watch! Be ready! For the days are drawing close; nearing the end of the age. Prepare the oil, trim the lamps. Be wide awake and watching! For the coming of our Lord; draws nigh! It is at the door! The enemy’s days are numbered. Our Lord; fights for us! He always causes us to triumph. He already defeated the enemy!_ _ _Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (see Col 2:11-17.).Remember! _ _ _the God of Peace ; will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you; Amen. (Rom 16:20 NKJ).And the God of Peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you. (Rom 16:20 Amp).
